Upper Wharfedale High School

I had a look around Upper Wharfedale High School yesterday. I was impressed with the excellent GCSE results they got this year and how many students were staying after school to do extra studying. They’re certainly working hard there. If you’d like to look round they have an Open Evening on Monday 26th September from 6.00 pm. Everyone is welcome.

Welcome!

Welcome to Threshfield Primary School!

We are thrilled to be launching our brand new web site this term and hope it will provide you with all the information you need about our wonderful school. We have a lot of new families joining us this term with children in all year groups.

Starting a new school can be a nerve wracking time for pupils and their parents, but at Threshfield you’ll feel part of our community in no time. You’ll find children, parents, staff and governors are very friendly and welcoming. I’m at the school gate every morning from 8.30 am and also at the end of school; primarily ensuring children are safe and happy, but also to give you the opportunity to ask any questions or just chat.

Teachers are available to speak to after school if you want that too. Good communication between home and school is essential because at Threshfield we want to provide the very best education we can for every one of our pupils and that’s only possible by working in close partnership with whole families.

So, welcome back to our long standing families and we look forward to meeting our new ones. We have a great term ahead of us with a lot of new developments, guaranteed to motivate your child and make learning fun. More details in the newsletter.

See you at the gate!
